Depression manifests itself in various ways from person to person. What we see when we step back are a lot of bright spots in a sea of darkness. You can either let go of hope, or grab hold when it is in reach.

This piece is made of thin layers of wood that are carved into, filled with crayon, and stacked on one another. We did this in an effort to give these pieces more depth, and we nailed that.
